Hello, SFFMA family throughout Texas

This past month has been incredibly busy for our state office. We’ve been participating in district meetings across Texas and finalizing an exciting lineup for our upcoming 150th Annual Training Conference and Convention.

As we gear up for this milestone year, we’re excited about everything coming together for what promises to be an outstanding conference. From dynamic keynote speakers to a vibrant exhibitor hall, this year’s event is designed to offer meaningful networking opportunities, hands‑on learning, and valuable time together as we continue serving the fire service community across Texas. Be on the lookout for our “Know Before You Go” information will be released soon to help you prepare for a smooth and successful conference experience.

As the school year ends and families begin summer break, we want to make sure every member has the chance to fully participate in this year’s conference and voting process.

Voting Process for Conference Delegates

• Delegate Form Submission Members who wish to serve as delegates and vote at the conference must complete and submit their conference delegate forms. Forms are available on the conference webpage: DELEGATE_FORM2026_fillable

• Submission Deadlines

  • Electronic Forms: Must be completed and sent to SFFMA by 5 p.m. on June 9, 2026.

  • Paper Forms: Completed forms may be turned in no later than 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the SFFMA conference registration area.

• Fire Chief Signature Required All forms must be signed by the fire chief to be valid. Please ensure delegate forms are submitted by the deadlines to participate in the voting process.
